Dr. Alan Fruzzetti will highlight skills to help family members and carers relieve their own emotions and distress while also building healthy relationships with the person they support. Skills include reducing emotional vulnerabilities, distress and dysregulation and increasing relationship mindfulness, validation, and self-validation. This event is being held to show our support of BPD Awareness Month in the USA, Canada and UK during May. In Australia we celebrate BPD Awareness Week during the first week of October.
