Parenting and BPD: Information session with Rose Cuff and Hannah Dee

Being a parent and having a diagnosis of BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) raises many challenges.

What are the challenges and difficulties of parenting with BPD?

How are children affected, and how can they be helped?
What can they understand?

In this informative video Rose and Hannah will offer some guidance from the perspectives of a clinician and a person with lived experience.

Rose is an Occupational Therapist who has worked in child, adolescent and adult mental health services since 1986. She supports families where a parent has a mental illness through direct clinical practice, creating and implementing peer support and group programs, developing resources and conducting training and research. She now works as the statewide FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) Co-ordinator.

Hannah Dee is an author, consumer consultant, advocate and speaker and parent of three boys. She also has a diagnosis of BPD. She is passionate about helping to lift the stigma and bias surrounding mental illness.
